Elecampane grows to a stunning 7 ft. tall and flowers in the second year of growth. Prefers full sun to part shade and should be spaced 2 feet apart. The roots of Elecampane make an excellent lung tonic, often used in respiratory syrups. Dig roots in the fall of the second year for medicine making.
