While not a common tea herb, Dryer’s Chamomile produces an abundance of blooms that make an excellent yellow dye for for fabrics and wool. The flowers are much larger than common chamomile and differ in medicinal properties. Dyer’s chamomile is used as an antispasmodic and emmenagogue. This perennial grows to 2 feet and should be spaced 12 inches apart. Prefers full sun and can grow in a wide range of soil types.
